Getting the Best Individual Health Insurance Quote

Friday, August 21st, 2009

The cost of health insurance depends on a lot of variables. Certainly, the price of an insurance policy will go up with the amount of coverage you require. It also goes with the number and types of diseases you want to be covered. Further, there are such items as copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance that have to be considered.

Given these facts, it would thus be wise to first carefully consider what exactly do you want or need in your insurance. For instance, a non-exerciser whose parents both died of diabetic complications will definitely want something far different from a regular runner who has several marathons under his belt. The wide array of choices would simply confound one who does not have an idea of what he is looking for.

It would help if you are familiar your current physical condition. Know your weight, height, blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index, and the like. Review your past medical history and find out if you have a propensity, whether genetic or due to your lifestyle, to any type of illness.

With this knowledge, you can log on to the Internet to look for insurance quotes. There are plenty of websites where an individual health insurance quote can be posted side-by-side with another allowing you to easily compare both features and prices.

Daily Tidbits

6 in the morning and I am already online. I was responding to myriad emails sent weeks ago by friends. It has been such a crazy month that I have not been able to be online as much as I used to. My blogs and social pages are in dire need of an update.

After having a cup of coffee and a piece of buttered toast, I immediately set to work on the updating my various sites. After an hour or two, I also surfed some news sites and updated myself with the news as well as some celebrity gossip.

I also will be purchasing a portable generator so I searched a few portable generator reviews. I read on the numerous brands and took note of the superior ones that got high review ratings.

I also took the opportunity to read a few wonderful ebooks. It has been a while since I have read books for pleasure and since I don’t have time to drop by bookstores; ebooks are quite a necessity for me.

When it was time to have lunch, I made myself a cold ham sandwich paired with a glass of root beer. As soon as I finished eating, I went back to my laptop and browsed some more websites.

Recent Purchases

I was in the mall yesterday and bought several items. It has been months since I’ve shopped for myself. As soon as I entered the mall, I was like a kid at a candy store. I was hyperventilating when I saw some wonderful items at half the price.

The first item I bought was a pair of shoes. It was love at first sight, actually. The red patent leather was so shiny that if a fly landed on the shoe, it would slide off. Its heels are extra thin and the soles are made from pure leather. It even has a red bow! How I love it.

The next item I bought was a classic LBD or a little black dress. It was just the right length, sitting just two inches above my knee. The little black dress is not that revealing but extremely attractive, nevertheless. It would go really beautiful with a set of pearls and my new red stiletto shoes.

After a few minutes of window shopping, I also decided to buy two ceramic hair irons. My current one was not ceramic and it is damaging my hair. I would give the extra one to my sister who has been asking for a hair iron replacement as well.

Talented Debbie

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Debbie is an artistic lady. Ever since she was a young girl, she would be making lots of things from scratch. One would often find Debbie immersed in several artistic projects such as knitting and crocheting. Last Christmas, She even knitted some sweaters and scarves for her closest friends. Debbie was also making beaded necklaces and bracelets a few months back. Some of her friends even buy her creations since they were all beautiful, colourful and totally unique. Debbie has also dabbled on a bit of poetry and sing compositions. She would sometimes perform them in an open mike crowd if she feels like it. At times, she would write them in a handmade card and give them to friends and relatives.

Lately, Debbie has been painting and sketching. She has been bringing a drawing pad, charcoal pencils and colored pencils everywhere she goes so she can draw whenever it strikes her. Debbie would often sit on the park’s benches and draw things that call her attention like the sunset, a cuddling couple or a bathing bird.

But today, Debbie would not be sketching, crocheting or knitting. Debbie has a class scheduled and it is on how to decorate cakes. Debbie is excited to do something new. She can’t wait to start decorating cakes.

Dale’s Busy Day

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Dale is acting as both mother and father to his sons for almost five years now. His wife had passed away when she was hit by a car while crossing the street. It was a dreadful time for Dale and his sons, but they survived it. Though, Dale is still mourning the loss of his wife and hasn’t dated once since she died.

Today, Dale is very busy. He is planning a surprise birthday party for his twin sons. Dale’s twins, Kyle and Kenny, are turning 7 years old today. Yesterday, he told his sons that they would have to stay in their grandma’s house since he will be “supposedly” out on a business trip for two days. The boys cried when they learned this and Kyle was even begging him not to go. It was such a heartbreaking thing to do but he wanted his boys to have a wonderful surprise party.

The invitations for the surprise party were sent out a week ago and all of the boy’s friends as well as their parents are coming over. It was time for Dale to make homemade ice cream, he knew his boys loved them soft serve. He can’t wait to see the look on his Kyle and Kenny’s face.
