Victoria’s Secret Scents and Lingerie

Monday, April 27th, 2009

I was at Victoria’s Secret yesterday to buy a bottle or two of their signature body splashes and mist. While I was browsing their wonderful store, I was conflicted. There were so many to choose from and they all smelled so good.

I finally decided to buy five body mists with their matching lotions. My choices were Romantic Wish, Vanilla Lace, Amber Romance, Sweet Temptation and Berry Kiss. I loved how they all smelled and I know that anyone who would catch my scent would love it too.

After finalizing my scent selections, I proceeded to the lingerie department. As usual, there was a lot of lingerie to choose from. I loved every babydoll, slip, teddy and bustier that was in the store. My head was spinning with all the beautiful laces, satins, silks and eyelets. The garters were extremely sexy as well. I ended up buying two lingerie sets in addition to my scents purchase.

I am so excited about my Victoria’s Secret purchases. I am currently using the Vanilla Lace body mist while I am still waiting for the right time to wear my beautiful Victoria’s Secret lingerie. The next time I visit their store, I will surely buy more of their products.

Training Wheels

Monday, April 27th, 2009

Andy wanted a bike. He wanted to go around the neighbourhood in his bike just like his big brother. Imagine Andy’s surprise when one day his parents bought him his first bicycle. It has a red paint with stars stuck to it. It was shiny and very new. Andy was excited. He wanted to ride the bicycle at once.

But as he went nearer to his bike, he noticed two small wheels sticking out from the back. He asked his Dad what it was. He said that his brother’s bike didn’t have those odd wheels and he wants one just like it. Andy’s Dad explained that those odd wheels were for training. He said that Andy needs to find his balance first before he could properly ride a bike and the training wheels could help him.

Since Andy was a small kid, he couldn’t get the wisdom of the training wheels. He just wanted to ride his bike right away without thinking about the odd wheels. He rode his bicycle all day long. When he was ready, his Dad took out the training wheels. Andy was so happy to see his training wheels go even though he lost his balance a few times. He now understood the wisdom of his training wheels and is grateful.

Gifts

Birthdays are occasions that require presents. But often times choosing what gift to give can be stressful. Some gifts are too expensive or too cheap while some are too complicated or too simple.

It is important that the gifts that you give will be appreciated by the celebrant. It should coincide with his or her taste, preference and status. Your gifts could make or break your reputation. When you give bag gifts, people may ridicule or eliminate you from their social circle. But when you bestow wonderful gifts, you will be invited to every social event there is and make you more popular among your friends and colleagues.

Personalized gifts are great gift ideas. They are customized to suit every person. Some personalized gifts examples are a sign pens engraved with the person’s names, place tickets for a friend’s dream vacation, or a sport jersey with a fanatic’s name.

When a friend’s birthday is coming up, you think about what his or her personality and the things that he or she likes. If a friend loves listening to music, you can burn him or her a MP3 disc. You can compile that friend’s favourite tracks from different artists and genre. You can even record a message or add photos or videos.

Chip’s Cheap Family Vacations

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

Chip is ready and raring to go in their annual family vacation. His parents have told him that because of their current financial situation, they have to tighten their belts a bit and go economical. Instead of staying in a five star hotel or resort, Chip’s family would have to find other inexpensive locations.

Chip doesn’t mind going on cheap family vacations. What’s important for him is that he can spend more time and have fun together with his parents. Chip’s Dad is always busy with work that they seldom see each other even on weekends while his Mom, a doctor, is often out of the house catering to her patients even at odd hours of the night. These annual vacations are the only times that they can bond together with no disturbances and distractions.

Chip and his parents had a long talk last night and they have planned on staying in their home state. They would drive to a nearby dude ranch and stay there for a couple of days. His Dad said that they can ride horses and hike on trails. Chip’s mom even added that they can go fly fishing too.

It doesn’t matter that they will be going on cheap family vacations, he is just so excited!
